Since the Queensferry Crossing was built, it has been extremely difficult to get an original view. Managed to get this abstract view from under the bridge on the South Queensferry side of the Forth.
Like two concrete ribbons, the two carriageway sections run into the distant perspective as if closing in on the aspiring tower that points forever upwards.
For some, this image will be clinical and cold but I absolutely love this image. Within its square frame, it holds everything that I love about beautiful engineering: symmetry, form, boldness, clinical and, believe or not, art.
