This is one of my “iconic” views of the Forth Rail Bridge and absolutely fills me with awe of this structure.
The distinct Steelwork isn’t the main focus of this image but it is the brick towers that complete the rail journey to the south side of the estuary that is the star here.
Using a long exposure to calm the seas and to produce a sheen for a more diffused reflection, the results are quite atmospheric and majestic. Even with the way the bridge seems to disappear into the mist on the far side gives a sense of drama.
